The evening will start with opening remarks from one of the filmmakers, David Abel, followed by a viewing of the feature length film, and conclude with a 45-minute panel discussion with representatives from the fishing industry, NOAA, and the science community.
Ticket costs cover licensing fee and taxes, and proceeds will go to a local conservation and research organization - the Center for Coastal Studies. ENTANGLED is a new, feature-length film about how climate change has accelerated a collision between one of the world’s most endangered species, North America’s most valuable fishery, and a federal agency mandated to protect both. The film, by the makers of Lobster War and Sacred Cod, won a 2020 Jackson Wild award, known as the Oscars of nature films.
